We became more ROOTED in our faith in 2021 as we learned about and put into practice 8 Habits of Spiritual Growth:

  • We started the year with 80 people buying Devotional Books for spending time with God.
  • Everyone was encouraged to read through the Bible in 2021.
  • Each person was encouraged to choose a “life verse” for the year and write it in the front of our Bibles.
  • We sold over 100 study Bibles in the Atrium in one Sunday.
  • On Easter, our church gave away 200 English Bibles and 100 Spanish Bibles for us to give to those who don’t have one.

  • Pastor Larry faithfully taught God’s Word to us through series on II Corinthians, Psalm 23, and II Timothy.
  • Our band and Praise Team led us in powerful praise and worship each week.
  • Our Children’s Ministry hosted a Pizza and Praise event for elementary children and their families.
  • Many in our church invited others to come with them and our church experienced great
  • growth.
  • We hosted the Hakuna Matata Children’s Choir from Kenya and experienced worship with those from a different culture.
  • 759 people were in attendance at 3 services and 2 Helicopter Egg Drops on Easter Sunday.

  • Books on prayer were available for those in our church to buy.
  • We participated in “Prayer Walking” around Tontitown leaving door hangers encouraging those in our community to contact us with prayer needs.
  • We created an Online Prayer Team to include people who receive prayer requests weekly and are faithful to pray.
  • Members of our Prayer Team began meeting with those who need prayer at the end of the worship services.

  • Every person who came to our church during 2021 was encouraged to join a Life Group and serve God through volunteering.
  • 19 adults and children were baptized in 2 baptismal services as their first step of faith in following Jesus.
  • Every child who was baptized completed a book on baptism with their parents in order to have a good understanding of salvation and baptism.

  • We had a table in the Atrium with free resources to use in sharing our faith with others.
  • Pastor Larry preached on sharing our faith and interviewed Eddie Felchle, who has won many people to the Lord.
  • We sold a book on sharing our faith without fear.
  • We financially supported and prayed for missionaries in France, Ethiopia, and The Navajo Reservation and sent monthly support to Glory Church in Kansas City.
  • Our church had a booth at the Tontitown Farmer’s Market every Saturday where we were able to meet many people from the community and hand out Bibles and invite them to our church.

  • Pastor Larry encouraged us in giving financially to the Lord.
  • We blessed the Hakuna Matata Children’s Choir with a love offering of $7,000 and bought a trailer for them.
  • Our 4th and 5th graders financially supported Ezra, a little boy in Uganda, through Childcare Worldwide.
  • We held a Financial Peace University Life Group to help those in our church learn how to live debt-free and give generously.
  • Our church gave $40,127 in our Birthday and Christmas Offerings which was all applied towards the principal on our Atrium loan. Our Church Family gave an additional $63,605 above our regular offerings to help pay off the Atrium. This allowed us to reduce our debt by $103,733.
  • Financially, we had the highest budget ($792,744) and giving ($935,403) in the history of our church!
